We comprehend the significance of trust when purchasing used auto parts. Therefore, each part we provide is supported by a comprehensive warranty and return policy, ensuring your confidence from the moment your order is placed.

Warranty Coverage
At United Auto Recycling, we take pride in the quality of our parts. Most major components such as used engines, used transmissions, and ECMs come with a warranty of up to 24 months (2 years), dependent on the specific part and listing.

What’s Covered?

Defects in workmanship or material upon delivery.

Failures of covered internal components under normal usage.

Engine long blocks: cylinder heads, engine block, crankshaft, pistons, camshaft, rockers, etc.

Transmissions: gears, valve bodies, internal shafts, torque converters.

What’s Not Covered?

External accessories or bolt-on components (sensors, harnesses, wires).

Failures due to improper installation or misuse.

Damage resulting from the non-replacement of seals, gaskets, fluids, or filters.

Labor, towing, or rental vehicle costs.

Warranty Activation:

Your part must be properly installed by a certified mechanic.

Proof of installation may be required.

For engines and transmissions, we strongly recommend replacing the oil filter, gaskets, seals, and performing a flush.

Improper installation or lack of proof of installation may invalidate the warranty.

Return Policy
We aspire for you to be completely satisfied with your order. Should any issues arise, we are dedicated to resolving them.

Return Eligibility:

A return request must be made within 10 business days of receiving your part.

Returns must receive prior authorization by contacting our support team.

Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original condition.

All original components, packaging, and paperwork must be included.

Damaged or Incorrect Parts?

Must be reported within 3 business days of delivery.

We will act swiftly to replace the part or issue a refund once verified.

Return Shipping:

The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is the result of our error.

Restocking Fee:

All authorized returns will incur a 25% restocking and handling fee.

No returns will be accepted without prior approval.

Cancellations
We accept cancellations under the following conditions:

Within 4 hours of placing the order: No charge.

Within 48 hours: 10% restocking fee.

After 48 hours: Returns are only accepted under the return policy detailed above.

Shipping Information
Estimated delivery time: 7–10 business days.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

A $100 shipping fee applies to residential deliveries unless otherwise agreed upon.

The buyer is responsible for shipping costs if the delivery is refused.

We confirm orders via email prior to processing.

Your Responsibilities as a Buyer
Ensure you have selected the correct part — we provide VIN-based part matching.

Inspect your delivery upon receipt and notify us of any issues immediately.

Ensure a certified professional installs your part to maintain your warranty.

Retain your invoice and installation records — they may be necessary for claims.

This policy constitutes the complete agreement between you (the buyer) and Prime Auto Parts. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our terms, warranty, and return policies. Sales are governed by the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) of the respective state in which United Auto Recycling operates.
