We never sell a part we wouldn't install ourselves. Every engine and transmission goes through our rigorous multi-point Quality Assurance process.

Grade Quality
We test each cylinder for proper compression to ensure the piston rings, valves, and head gaskets are all within specification.
Pressurized air is pumped into each cylinder to detect any internal leaks that compression testing alone might miss.
Oil condition and color is checked for metal shavings, coolant contamination, or signs of overheating that indicate internal damage.
The block, heads, and all external surfaces are inspected for cracks, warping, stripped bolts, and corrosion damage.
Transmission fluid is inspected for burnt smell, metal particles, discoloration, and contamination β key indicators of internal wear.
Where possible, we verify smooth engagement in all gears including reverse, checking for any slipping, grinding, or delayed shifts.
All gaskets, seals, and connection points are checked for leaks. Pan bolts and sensor ports are inspected for damage or stripping.
On automatic transmissions, the torque converter is inspected for play, leaks, and proper hub engagement.
We source our inventory exclusively from insurance auction vehicles β cars and trucks that were totaled due to body damage, not mechanical failure. This means the engines and transmissions are typically in excellent working condition with verified mileage records.
We never sell parts from vehicles with known engine or transmission problems, flood damage, or salvage titles with mechanical failure. Every donor vehicle's history is checked before parts are pulled.
